Republic Day Celebration, 2019
The national festival, Republic Day was celebrated in Sant Nirankari Public School, Tilak Nagar on 25th January, 2019 with great enthusiasm. The Student Alumni, Ms. Dilpreet Kaur, S.W.O at Union Bank of India, Ms. Deepa Gandhi, Tax consultant at EY and Ms. Divya Gandhi, Software Engineer at Amazon were invited as Chief guests. Mr. A.S. Gill, Chairman, Mrs. Rupinder Kaur, Manager, Mrs. Geeta Arora, LMC Member, Mr. Indermohan Singh, LMC Member, Mr. S. S. Malik, LMC Member were invited.
The celebration started with the auspicious flag hoisting ceremony. The tricolor balloons were unleashed thereafter. A melodious bhajan of Mahatma Gandhi, ‘Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram’ was sung by the students of class VIII. It was followed by the solo song ‘Mai teri chunariya’ beautifully sung by a student, Erfanullah. Thereafter, prize distribution of sports day was started. Certificates were given to the students achievers in special categories such as Paras Dhawan (IX) and Jai Chawla (IX) for appreciation and special acknowledgement in Regional CBSE Science Exhibition, Ojasvi Lamba for securing first position in Zonal level, Inter Zonal level and District level too in Painting Competition held by Delhi Traffic Police and Puneet (VIII) for bagging first position in Zonal level and Inter Zonal level in on The Spot Painting Competition. Medals and certificates were also given to winners of races held on Annual Sports Day. The celebration was continued by the act of Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev. It was followed by the cultural dances on various patriotic songs by the students of class V to IX. The chief guests motivated the students to respect their teachers. They also told them that we should put our efforts to enrich and preserve our heritage. At last, Mrs. Leena Kapoor, HOS gave a vote of thanks to our chief guests and all other eminent personalities present there and wished the students a HAPPY REPUBLIC DAY.
