Awareness about Single Use Plastic

With the aim of combating the deadly Single use plastic usage, Sant Nirankari Public School, Tilak Nagar organized a  Single use plastic AWARENESS CAMPAIGN on September 21,2019 (Saturday). The students and teachers of the school participated enthusiastically, joining hands against the terror of plastic effects. A special rally was flagged off to spread awareness among the masses about plastic.  Students vociferated slogans and distributed informative pamphlets to the passersby to spread awareness. Students were also shown videos encouraging them to make India free from single use plastic. They were inspired not to use plastic bottles, plastic cups, forks, spoons, straws, thermocol items and polythene bags. They promised to avoid the usage of such plastic items and make others also aware about it. The school conducted a special assembly on the day to acquaint the students and teachers about the harmful effects of Single use plastic, thereby encouraging the students to spread awareness about the disease among the masses.
